Learning Objectives
The course is designed to provide the basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics of the blood and lymphatic system, in order to establish the biological basis for learning laboratory, the clinic and the principles of therapy

Course attendance as established by the Degree Course guidelines. At the end of the course the student will have a precise overview of the main hematologic diseases in terms of pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical therapy and therapy

1. Hematopoiesis. Characterization of stem cells and the hematopoietic niche. The bone marrow biopsy. Therapeutic use of stem cells
