Learning Objectives
The goal of this course is to provide students with basic knowledge on main infectious transmittable diseases focusing their etiology, transmission routes, pathogenesis, therapeutic and preventive strategies. Clinical aspects and route of transmission as well as recommended preventive measures will be underlined with particular reference to infectious diseases that may be at risk for occupational and nosocomial transmission.
