Historical and methodological introduction. ICF model and inclusive perspective. Principal forms of disability: sensory, motor skill, autism and mental retardation. Pedagogical and didactic intervenctions. Social Integration and Help relationship. Motor activity and disability.

Learning Objectives
To acquire basic theoretical and clinical knowledge of the various forms of disability from the aspect of affectivity, learning processes and social interaction modes. To acquire the foundations of a pedagogical and didactic model of social integration of disabled and disadvantaged people in the developmental and adult ages. To deepen the theme of affection in helping relationships from the viewpoint of supporting work, with particular reference to the school sphere.
Prerequisites
General pedagogical and didactic knowledge, with a particular focus on cognitive processes, affectivity and social integration.
Teaching Methods
Classroom lectures with PowerPoint slides.
Type of Assessment
The exams will be an oral format.
Course program
In the first part of the course, we will review the general features of the main forms of disability, with a particular focus on learning, didactics, affectivity and social interaction modes. In the second part, we will emphasize the delineation of a pedagogical model of social integration of disabled and disadvantaged people, starting from an understanding of social exclusion processes and emotional bases of helping relationships.
