Learning Objectives
At the end of the course the student will have built skills regarding:
• Acquire the skills necessary for functional evaluation and understanding of the problems and abilities of the person (functional diagnosis) through evaluation at the level of body structures and functions and activities and participation
• Know how to interpret the data of the different assessments (assessment) in the different age groups (evolutionary, adult, geriatric
• Conduct, in collaboration with the tutor, the clinical reasoning that leads to the identification of the functional prognosis
• Acquire organizational management skills to frame one's work within the organization
• Know how to fill in the rehabilitation record or the medical record as far as it is competent
Prerequisites
Have passed the internship exam of the first year
Teaching Methods
Tutor-led theoretical-practical exercises in specific settings of Physiotherapy services

Final compost examination on a theoretical side and a practical exercise in simulation or directly on the assisted person
Course program
The second year traineeship programme consists of the following activities:
- Carry out sensitivity assessment
- Perform muscle tone assessment
- Carry out the evaluation of the motor control
- Carry out the evaluation of postural control
- Carry out the assessment of walking
- Evaluate the reaching and manipulation function
- Carry out the evaluation of autonomy in the basic and instrumental a.d.l.
- Carry out the evaluation of mental functions
- Carry out the basic assessment of vital functions
- Identify the patient's residual abilities and problems, distinguishing between main and secondary problems
- Collaborate in the definition of functional diagnosis
- Collaborate in the definition of the functional prognosis and possible short- and long-term objectives
